The Community Emergency Response Team (FV-CERT) proudly supports Fuquay-Varina's Annual Christmas Parade (formerly hosted by the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce), now hosted by the Writing, Music, and Film Society of Fuquay-Varina.

CERT SCHEDULE:

• 1200-1300 (12-1 p.m.): Safety Briefing & Volunteer Check-In

• 1300-1600 (1-4 p.m.): CERT Setup & Mobilization

• 1600-2000 (4-6 p.m.): Christmas Parade

• 2000-2030 (6-6:30 p.m.): CERT Demobilization & Cleanup

EXPECTATIONS OF CERT VOLUNTEERS (ACTIVITY DEPENDENT):

• First Aid Support: Hand out band-aids, CPR, cold packs/towels, & support FVPD & FVFD.

• Comfort Station: Provide a shaded area with chairs for float participants that need a break from the elements.

• Public Safety: Pedestrian Crossing & Crowd Management

• CERT/EVENT Communications

• Answer questions about the event (as needed)
